Canadian filmmaker Mark Achbar, one of the directors of the critically acclaimed 1992 film Manufacturing Consent: Noam Chomsky and the Media, teams with Jennifer Abbott on this documentary look at the history and influence of corporations all over the world. Through interviews with corporate insiders as well as critics such as Noam Chomsky and Michael Moore (Roger & Me), the film explores the role of corporations in everything from American slavery to the Nazi Holocaust of World War II. The Corporation screened at the 2004 Sundance Film Festival as part of the World Documentary program.
