Dog Bite Dog

Three desperate characters who share troublesome relationships with their fathers meet on the mean streets of Hong Kong in this violent crime drama. Pang (Edison Chen) is a tough, violent and nearly sociopathic teenager who has made his way from Cambodia to Hong Kong to become a hired killer after proving his talent for violence on the underground boxing circuit. After killing his first target in a restaurant after eating the victim's dinner, Pang hides out in a garbage dump on the edge of town, where he meets Yue (Pei Pei), a homeless girl who lives there with her father. When Pang sees the father forcing himself sexually upon Yue, he attacks the man, killing him; Pang takes Yue under his wing, and the girl's innocence, which has survived despite her dreadful circumstances, brings out a humanity in Pang that he didn't realize he still possessed. However, Pang is still wanted by the law as Wai (Sam Lee), a gadfly police detective whose father, a beat cop, is fighting for his life in a Hong Kong hospital.
