Johannes Moller: GFA Winner 2010

Guitarist Johannes M?ller, winner of the 2010 Guitar Foundation of America's International Concert Artist Competition, toplines this performance film. It features several tunes from the standard repertoire, including "August?n Barrios Un Sue?o en la Floresta" and M?ller's own transcription of Isaac Al?niz's "Asturias (Leyenda)," plus original M?ller compositions such as "Echo of the Trees," "Listening to the Silence of a Starry Night," and "Future Hope," which is dedicated to an organization that assists street children in Kolkata, India. The artist's brother, Simon M?ller, directs in a unique manner, relying largely on natural light to give the film a vibrant color scheme.
