Dave Weckl: How to Develop Technique

In this series of three how-to videos, Dave Weckl demonstrates techniques for drumming. His method of instruction is thorough and clear. In How to Develop Technique, he discusses each topic, then shows how it's done on the drum pad, then on the drum set. Finally, the viewer sees how it all works in a live recording of the Dave Weckl Band, and in an acoustic group created especially for the tape. Weckl also covers stick grip, finger technique, wrist technique, and rebound approach for hands and feet, and he gives tips for choosing the right equipment and proper setup.
