King of the Cowboys

"Roy Rogers, the famous singing cowboy, stars as himself in this film about the ""Western"" front of World War II. When the governor of Texas asks Roy to go undercover to catch a group of saboteurs who are blowing up government warehouses, the cowboy does just that, with the help of his old pal Frog Millhouse (Smiley Burnette), and of course, his trusty horse Trigger. The film includes several musical performances including Ride Ranger Ride and Red River Valley."
