"Reelin' in the Years presents this never-before-seen concert from the legendary soul duo, Ike and Tina Turner. This hour-long concert is presented with all-new remastered picture and sound, plus a full CD of the show that includes three songs not featured on the DVD. Audio options include a DTS surround sound track along with a smoking 5.1 Dolby Digital and 2.0 stereo track -- all of which do a sublime job at cranking out the live tunes. Video quality is another issue with this release since the actual footage is marred by a soft picture and numerous double images, though one look at the ""Before and After Restoration Comparison"" in the bonus features proves that the DVD production team did in fact do a considerable job of bringing out the vivid colors, though that's pretty much it. Other bonus features include a music video for the Soul to Soul concert, released in its entirety for the first time on DVD just months before this release. Still, the concert is fantastic on both the DVD and CD, no matter what kind of picture annoyances there might be. Recommended for any self-respecting soul fan out there."
