The Man Show: Season One, Vol. 1 [3 Discs]

"It's a man's world, so says The Man Show hosts Jimmy Kimmel and Adam Carolla. Ten episodes of the first season are represented on this fine DVD set, which boasts not only slim packaging (for a box set), but also animated menus exploding with the singalong theme song. Jam-packed with women, lots of beer, and talking monkeys, the first season has all of your favorite early segments, including ""Man-o-vations"" (everyday items made by men, for men) and the infamous male breast implant episode. Technically, the DVD looks sharp with nice full-frame picture quality and Dolby Digital Sound as its lone audio track. Included on the disc are some manly extras including three new ""Father and Son"" segments with Kimmel and his son, and a few helpful home repair tips from adult film actresses Kylie Ireland, Sydney Steele, and Tabitha Stevens. Of course, no Man Show DVD would be complete without some extra Monkey Jokes and over ten minutes of credit-free footage of their ""Girls on Trampolines"" shtick. All in all, a great set for those Man Show fans out there. Note: While the discs do include the explicit language that was bleeped out of the cable broadcasts, those looking for raunchier material should look elsewhere, as any nudity has been kept censored on the DVD."
