Mahavishnu Orchestra: Live at Montreux 2004

This concert release, as headlined by the celebrated fusion band The Mashavishnu Orchestra, actually incorporates two separate performances, mounted at the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland and shot ten years apart - one in 1974, the other in 1984. Frontman and guitarist John McLaughlin leads each set. The first demonstrates a more gritty rock orientation, while the second exudes a little more polish and refinement.
