Director Brett Piper employs such traditional practical effects as miniatures and stop-motion animation in this adaptation of H.P. Lovecraft's Dreams in the Witch House, which tells the tale of a woman who moves into an old dark house with a sinister history, and makes a terrifying discovery upon venturing into the basement.
