Antonio Salieri: Falstaff

"This DVD version of Salieri's opera (standard full-screen with a 1.33:1 aspect ratio) includes a multilingual menu (English, French, Castilian, and Japanese), English and Japanese subtitles, an Italian audio track (PCM stereo, not Dolby), and a 36-page booklet with the libretto translated into German, English, and French. Audio is crisp and tight, though without much bass, and picture quality is adequate in up-close stage shots but poor and very fuzzy from a distance. For some reason the picture looks colorized. There are no special or bonus features. The opera runs a bit longer than the official 120 minutes."
