This performance release from the Deutsches National Theater finds that venerable institution mounting a 2008 performance of +G?tterd?mmerung, the last installment in Richard Wagner's four-opera cycle +Der Ring des Nibelungen. This particular production stars Norbert Schmittberg as Siegfried, Mario Hoff as Gunther, Tomas M?wes as Alberich and Renatus M?sz?r as Hagen. Dirk Becker designed the sets, with Michael Schulz directing for the stage; the Opera Chorus of the Deutsches Nationaltheater Weimar provides musical accompaniment.
