The product of a year of research in various countries, it attempts to tell the complete story of the famous diva, chronologically, from her birth in 1923 to her death from a heart attack in 1977. Though other documentaries have covered the same subject, this one distinguishes itself via the most extensive collection of private materials assembled for one film, including home movies of the singer's life, archival performance footage and private photographs from Callas's collection.
