Though Unterweger held court as one of the most celebrated European journalists and poets, and at one point managed to convince many that he had successfully ""reintegrated"" into society years after a murder conviction, authorities ultimately found him guilty of slaying numerous prostitutes in countries across 20th Century Europe. +The Infernal Comedy (2009) stars the legendary John Malkovich as Unterweger, in a production designed for one actor, two sopranos and an orchestra. The entire production appears in this release, with the soprano parts filled by Laura Aikin and Aleksandra Zamojska, and the Orchester Wiener Akademie providing symphonic accompaniment. The music features selections by Haydn, Mozart, Vivaldi, Boccherini, Weber and Beethoven; Birgit Hutter designed the costumes."
