The Theater an der Wien mounted this production of Gian Carlo Menotti's +Goya in 2004, with a cast that includes Pl?cido Domingo as famed artist Francisco de Goya y Lucientes, Michelle Breedt as Do?a Cayetana, Duchess of Alba, ?ride Mart?nez as Mar?a Luisa, Queen of Spain, and Andreas Conrad as Charles IV, King of Spain. Emmanuel Villaume conducts, Steffen Aarfing designed the sets and costumes, Nikolaus Adler choreographs; and Matthias K?hler serves as chorus master.
