Christa Ludwig: The Birthday Edition [2 Discs]

To celebrate her 80th birthday, this release features two titles by mezzo soprano Christa Ludwig. Ludwig performs Franz Schubert's DIE WINTEREISE in a private 1994 recital, and in the same year she sings Lieder by Schubert, Wolf, Mahler, Strauss and Bernstein as part of a farewell tour.
