Sasha Waltz: Korper/S/noBody [3 Discs]

"Avant garde choreographer Sasha Waltz created the three-piece dance cycle featured in this release. It actually constitutes an adaptation of ""Diloge '99/II,"" an installation in the Jewish Museum constructed by Daniel Liebskind, and each of the installments investigates a unique aspect of the human anatomy. ""K?rper"" looks at the physical appearance of human beings, and thematically ties together the female dancer's body with architecture, history and science; ""S"" searches for the inception point of love, sensibility and life itself; and ""noBody"" asks serious, penetrating metaphysical questions about humanity's existence per se."
