Johann Strauss: Eine Nacht in Venedig

Hepu Muzz lives in a subterranean settlement called the Cave on a sphere known only as The Planet. The Cave's leaders exert harsh control over everyone in her tribe. Muzz is about to reach the age of betrothal, but she does not want to be 'given' to anyone. What will happen if she resists the will of the Tribe? And if she does, what secrets might she uncover about the Tribe's past, present, and future? One thing is certain: If she refuses to be betrothed, nothing will be the same again.

LILIA WAKEMAN taught many grades and subjects from K through 12, traveled and lived in several countries in Europe, Asia, and Central America, taught English literature, composition, and creative writing at the college level for over 20 years, and practiced meditation for over 40. She raised two children in the Santa Cruz Mountains, and now makes her home in the Pacific Northwest. This is her first novel.
