Traveling to Mexico in search of a silver mine, a couple (Samantha Eggar, Roy Jenson) instead find the dismembered left hand of the Devil, who possesses the husband and later moves to a series of other people. An exorcism by a priest (Stuart Whitman) is the only way to stop this evil incarnate. The film is also known as Macabra.
