Documentary filmmaker Brent Wilson charts the life and legacy of musician Brian Wilson, who co-founded the influential pop band the Beach Boys in 1961. Despite his tumultuous childhood, Wilson rose above adversity to cultivate a keen talent for music at an early age. His diverse musical interests later lent themselves to creating an innovative, unorthodox sound for the Beach Boys.
