This unauthorized documentary about the rock band Foo Fighters details how former Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl founded the band, and led it on a highly-successful career. Grohl wrote all the songs and played all the instruments on the debut album, but he soon fleshed out his vision with such bandmates as Pat Smear and Taylor Hawkins. They would go on to become one of the most successful rock acts of their era.
