Hitler Meets Christ

Ultimate good meets profound evil on skid row in this screen adaptation of Michael Moriarty's controversial stage play. Two homeless men meet at a shabby train stop late one night; both have a taste for alcohol and a similar degree of mental illness that has rendered each man delusional. One of the two men is convinced he's Adolph Hitler (Michael Moriarty), while the other believes himself to be Jesus Christ (Wyatt Page). Over the next several hours, the two men verbally spar, as Christ tries to persuade Hitler to atone for his crimes against humanity, while Hitler challenges Christ about the true nature of good an evil. Shot on location in one of Vancouver's most notorious districts for only $100,000, Hitler Meets Christ received its world premiere at the 2007 Cinequest San Jose Film Festival.
