Airwolf: The Movie

A reclusive pilot is hired to bring back a super-powered helicopter that has been stolen and sold to the Libyans. He retrieves it, only after the government promises the release of his brother missing in Vietnam. When the government fails to live up to their bargain, he keeps the helicopter.
