Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, and Fluttershy look forward to performing with their band The Rainbooms for a musical showcase at Canterlot High. Tensions rise, however, when a new girl group known as The Dazzlings turn the friendly competition into an all-out battle of the bands.
