Romanian ?migr? Elena (Cosmina Stratan) takes a job as a housekeeper for a well-to-do Danish couple (Peter Christoffersen and Ellen Dorrit Petersen) living off the grid in a forest cabin. When the lady of the house learns that Elena is sending money to a son back home, she offers to solve her financial woes if she'll become a surrogate mother for the couple.
