This is a first-person narrative of one of the author’s early pastorates and his attempt to confront serious and overwhelming sin problems in the church. It details the struggles encountered by him and others in attempts to bring confession, redemption, and restoration, in spite of severe opposition—even to the point of threats to life. In a pastorate that lasted just short of a year, there was nevertheless salvation and strong revival among several.

This dramatic, true account of the struggle against strong evil forces with people trapped in fear and dismay reads like a thriller novel and shows how the Lord finally won out after all was seemingly lost.
