Hosted by Jane Lynch this program from PBS tells the stories of once-forgotten dogs who left their lives at an animal shelter to become devoted hospital volunteers responsible for comforting and healing human patients and their families as they work through their afflictions. Also featured is an innovative spay/neuter clinic, as well as a look at the search and rescue dogs that have proved invaluable in finding human survivors in the aftermath of a disaster.
