In the spring of 1996, several children of suburban Conyers, GA, were found to be victims of syphilis. These teenagers of Rockdale County, who had come from comfortable homes, were interviewed by epidemiologists to find the cause of the epidemic. The startling results showed that teens as young as 14 were involved with many sex partners, often during all-night orgies.
