In this film, Ivan Mosjoukine stars as an aristocratic Russian officer who falls in love with winsome Jewish peasant girl Mary Philbin. Not surprisingly, the officer is forbidden to marry the girl, but the juggernaut known as the Soviet Revolution changes everything.
