Before she took the stage with legendary New York rock outfit The Velvet Underground, Nico headlined this psychological drama centering on an ambitious ballet dancer who lands a job in an upscale Paris strip club in order to stay afloat. At first suffering from a crippling case of stage fright, the dancer soon conceives a groundbreaking act that launches her to stardom in the City of Light. Featuring a score by influential French singer/songwriter Serge Gainsbourg.
