This volume focuses on the Universiade Sports Center in Shenzhen, China, created by Architects von Gerkan, Marg and Partners. With its crystalline and triangular shape, the sports center was designed to replicate the surrounding undulating environment, referencing Chinese horticulture and philosophy.
