Director Marcia Kimpton's soul-searching drama unfolds in Thailand, where Jack (Stephen McClintic) arrives to reunite with his estranged mother and to find respite from his dark past. He gains some helpful assistance from an American hotel manager (played by Kimpton herself), but a callous brothel owner (Gina Haining) threatens to thwart his quest for solace and self-improvement.
