The First Monday in May

A behind-the-scenes look at the Metropolitan Museum of Art's hugely successful exhibition "China: Through the Looking Glass," which examined Chinese-inspired Western fashion. Director Andrew Rossi explores the intersection of fashion and art through the lens of both this exhibition and the Met Gala, the museum's annual fundraising event. The First Monday in May made its world premiere as the opening-night film at the 2016 Tribeca Film Festival.
