Never one to be satisfied with conventional camera techniques, inventor Pascal Cotte devised a tool that enabled him to digitally photograph the Mona Lisa at 240 million pixel. The effort turned up a number of centuries-old historical secrets that lay buried in the painting. This art history-themed documentary discusses those finds, and draws from Cotte's tool to provide closer on-camera observations of the said canvas than ever before.
