Baroque Motion, Vol. 1

This ambience release from the label Microcinema presents a series of back-to-back images from classical Baroque paintings on the viewer's screen, and visually meditates on the ways in which real-life events and objects - such as a brawl in a goldsmiths' guild, a scientist's discovery of gravity's absence in one instance, and the presence of a fish and lobster on a table - were transformed into still tableaux.
