Missa Solemnis - Beethoven

"Soprano Camilla Nylund, contralto Birgit Remmert, tenor Christian Elsner and bass Ren? Pape performed Ludwig Van Beethoven's 1823 +Missa Solemnis on November 4th and 5th, 2005, in an inaugural concert to celebrate the reopening of the Dresden Frauenkirche. Director Nele M?nchmeyer filmed those performances live, and combines footage from both into the home video release Missa Solemnis, which features the entire concert from beginning to end. The Chor der S?chsischen Staatsoper Dresden, led by Matthias Brauer, and The S?chsische Staatskapelle Dresden, led by Fabio Luisi, provide accompaniment."
