Yefim Bronfman/Berliner Philharmoniker/Simon Rattle: Stravinsky/Rachmaninov/Tchaikovsky [Blu-ray]

As a perennial event, the Berliner Philharmoniker routinely mounts a themed classical music concert at Berlin's Waldb?hne, to cap off the end of the current season. The 2009 event, which appears in this home release, is woven around the theme of "Russian Rhythms." Sir Simon Rattle teams up with the Philharmoniker and classical concert pianist Yefim Bronfman to present a Russian pieces including several selections from Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky's +Nutcracker, Sergei Rachmaninov's Piano Concerto No. 3, and Igor Stravinsky's Le Sacre du printemps.
