Orlando Paladino

This production of Joseph Haydn's three-act opera THE PALADIN ORLANDO emerged from the Staatsoper unter den Linden in 2009. As jointly conceived and co-directed by British director Nigel Lowery and Iranian choreographer Amir Hosseinpour, it stars Marlis Petersen as Angelica, Tom Randle as Orlando, Pietro Spagnoli as Rodomonte and Magnus Staveland as Medoro. The Freiburger Barockorchester, conducted by Ren? Jacobs, lends musical accompaniment.
