Mysterious Mamberamo

The holy grail of explorers and adventurers across the globe is exposed to the entire world thanks to the remarkable efforts of two friends determined to discover how man once lived at peace with nature. Indonesia's Irian Jaya is perhaps the last place that modern man can come into contact with the primitive world. Closed off from the modern world by natural and political roadblocks, it is located near the River Mamberamo, and has remained virtually unchanged for thousands of years. Then, two friends embarked on a 600 mile jungle trek in hopes of re-discovering man's true connection to nature. Faced with such serious dangers as malaria and hunger during their journey into the forbidden inland territory of New Guinea, the adventurers soldiered on. Their efforts eventually paid off as the explorers came face to face with a tribe that lives in peace near the River Mamberamo.
