Make Me Young: Youth Knows No Pain

In an American culture obsessed with youth and beauty and the subsequent fear of growing old, plastic surgery has gone from being an upper-class indulgence to a commonplace procedure available to the middle-class. In her documentary Youth Knows No Pain, filmmaker Mitch McCabe -- herself the daughter of a plastic surgeon -- explores the lucrative business of anti-aging, travelling across the U.S. to interview both prominent surgeons as well as everyday people who have spent large sums of money on procedures such as breast implants, hair transplants, and Botox injections.
