Sent to Ossining Prison (popularly known as Sing Sing), influential crook Spencer Tracy is unregenerate and refuses to adhere to the rules. Thanks to Sing Sing's compassionate warden, Tracy becomes a model prisoner. This film is based on the book by real-life Sing Sing warden Lewis E. Lawes.
