Who Is Killing the Great Chefs of Europe?

Peter Stone wrote this witty and fast-paced adaptation of Nan and Ivan Lyons' novel Someone Is Killing the Great Chefs of Europe. A series of murders of the greatest European gourmets becomes an excuse for an assemblage of Europe's greatest character actors --from Phillipe Noiret, to Stefano Saztta Flores, to Jean-Pierre Cassel, to Jean Rouchfort, to Robert Morley. George Segal and Jacqueline Bisset are on hand as the nominal leads, playing a fast-food king and his ex-wife. Morley plays an international food connoisseur who is told by his doctors that if he doesn't lose weight, he will die. When the great European chiefs whom Morley indulges his epicurean appetite begin to die in horrible ways, the finger points to Morley as the killer.
