In this mystery, a husband attempts to build a new life with an actress after he is acquitted for the murder of his wife, whom his neighbors still believe he killed. Fortunately, his new wife believes he is innocent; together, they learn the killer's identity, a woman who almost kills the actress. During the ensuing scuffle, the killer dies in a car crash while the actress escapes.
