This gritty crime drama is loosely based on the real-life crime-fighting exploits of turn-of-the-century New York policeman Joe Petrosino. Petrosino founded the notorious Italian Squad, a group of detectives who were determined to prove that the Sicilian Mafia was behind Big Apple organized crime.
