After successfully stealing a diamond necklace belonging to a duchess, two thieves flee to Hong Kong and end up getting involved with military goings-on with Japan. After numerous complications and altercations, they finally give up life on the run--between falling in love, 'fessing up and getting married--to become upright citizens. Jane Russell and Clark Gable star in this comedy-romance-actioner with appearances from Alan Ladd and Peter Lorre.
