Based on the 1928 operetta by Hungarian composer Emmerich Kalmain, this film stars Broadway favorite Vivienne Segal as Dawn, a blonde white woman slated to become the virgin high priestess of an East African tribe. Dawn is eventually rescued from her fate by soldier of fortune Tom Allen.
