The Night Digger

Featuring a screenplay by Roald Dahl and based on a novel by Joy Cowley, this psycho-thriller is set in a gothic Victorian mansion where a middle-aged never-married woman dutifully takes care of her blind mother. Love finally comes to this selfless woman in the form of the estate handyman. One day the police show up at the property looking for him, the woman lies to protect him. Unfortunately, he turns out to be a murderous mad rapist and horror ensues.
