In this film, attorney Van Johnson was nearly drowned in an overstocked wine cellar during the war; ever since that time, he can't even smell booze without becoming inebriated. Young, rich Elizabeth Taylor attempts to save Johnson from embarrassment whenever he comes into proximity with alcohol.
