An American sailor tries to find the murderer of his old partner to avenge his death. Instead, he finds a 9-year-old boy and his Mother. The young boy is seeking the Father he never knew, not realizing that he and his Mother were never married, and the sailor and he become friends. Cliche, hackneyed, with no surprise ending, except for what happens in a train yard.
