This film stars Michael Caine as an M16 agent-turned-nightclub owner. Caine is a man of steadfast loyalties, and thus he takes it personally when several friends from his espionage days are mysteriously killed. Caine investigates on his own, which brings him in close proximity with an enigmatic consul's wife.
