Katharine Hepburn stars in this Japanese children's drama that centers on two youngsters who endeavor to restore the hot-air balloon that belonged to one of their grandfathers. In order to do this, they ask a crusty old junkyard owner for help. She does and the flight scenes over California's wine country are exceptionally beautiful.
